A backyard that is uniquely you!!!

If you're an outdoor enthusiast, you can probably agree that the outdoors can be a very fun and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the weather. Warm or cool, there are so many decorative touches that you can add to your yard to not clutter it by any means, but to create a backyard paradise that is uniquely yours.

Think about what you enjoy doing outdoors. What exactly is it? When I think about the outdoors, and especially new projects! Gardening has been a very fun project, but I also have been getting more into the relaxation part of our backyard. I've also had up to 150 butcher chickens we've raised in our backyard, and have two year a half old horses that we keep out at my father-in-law’s farm. When the weather is nice, I can almost guarantee you that unless it's dark or the mosquitoes are out, we're outside. In the hectic summer, both Brad and I enjoy barbecuing. This has brought us to our next big outdoor “project” if you want to call it that!

This summer is the centennial for out hometown. Brad and I have been thinking about what we can do to be different, and have a fun and family atmosphere. We are right on the edge of town, and have a good sized backyard. Those that know me, know that I'm not going to attempt something if it is not a challenge. Lately I've been thinking about a pig roast in our backyard over the 4th of July weekend! I enjoy things that are simple and yet fun for everyone. We've talked about doing a pig roast for a number of years just for a reason to get together for some summer fun. This is the year!

I'm working on creating a backyard atmosphere that is fun for all ages. We will have chickens again, I don't know about 150, but I can guarantee that there will be fun for everyone.

Check it out. It's got really neat ideas that focus around the whole family. From entertainment to garden interests, yard maintenance and backyard decor, you'll have a blast checking it out! Thought you would enjoy taking a look at it.
